Powerless Free is a multi-platform utility to remotely send power commands between computers on a local network. It has the capability to send a wake-on-LAN (WOL) signal to a machine within the same subnet as the client. If the listener program is running on the server, it can receive signals from the client to sleep and shutdown.
A paid version is also available, which removes ads and unlocks hibernate and restart options.
IMPORTANT!!! PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE INSTALLING:
1. The app can only control computers over WiFi on the local network, or over a properly configured VPN.
2. In order for any commands other than Wake to work, the listener must be running on the server.
3. In order for the Wake command to work, the server's BIOS must have Wake-on-LAN (WOL) enabled.
